The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading civil society think-tank in South Asia, is planning to recruit a number of qualified professionals who are interested to pursue an intellectually challenging career that demands commitment, initiative and creativity.  

Research Fellow

The candidate will be a mid-level researcher, desirably below 40 years, with excellent academic track record. S/he will have a PhD in Economics (any specialisation), or an advanced academic degree in Economics or related subjects, from a reputed foreign university and will have an academic (research/teaching) experience of at least five years. Salary will be in the range of Tk. 45,000-60,000 per month with other admissible benefits. Higher compensation will be considered for eminently qualified professionals.

Non-resident Bangladeshi scholars who would like to work in Bangladesh for at least one year are encouraged to apply.

Senior Research Associate

The ideal candidate will have a Post Graduate/Masters degree in Social Sciences including Economics, International Relations, Public Administration, Finance, Statistics or Business Administration. At least three first divisions/class in relevant subject or a minimum CGPA of 3.75 is required. Successful candidate for this position will have at least two years of effective service experience in an academic position. Requirements may be relaxed for candidates with foreign degree and/or significant publications. S/he will work as a member of the core research team at CPD. Gross salary will be in the range of Tk. 25,000-40,000 per month with other admissible benefits.
