CPD offers internship opportunities to young aspirants who are interested to pursue a research-oriented career. CPD internship will provide an Intern with an excellent opportunity to interact closely with a leading civil society think-tank in Bangladesh and to gain first-hand exposure to frontier developmental issues and critical development policy challenges facing the country. CPD will involve the interns in its ongoing research programmes, where they will be required to provide supervised research inputs. The internship also provides a scope to participate in various in-house, national and international dialogues organised by the CPD on a regular basis.


The candidate will have a Masters degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or other Social Sciences (International Relations, Public Administration) with at least three first classes or CGPA of at least 3.50 / two first classes. Those awaiting Masters result may also apply.

An allowance of Tk. 5,000 per month will be offered to an Intern. Interns will be recruited for 2-3 months initially and based on their performance, they may be offered the post of Programme/Research/Dialogue Associates at CPD.

Requirements: Interns will be expected to provide support to the core research and dialogue teams at CPD. Good analytical abilities, excellent drafting skills in both Bangla and English, strong communication skills and high computer literacy are essential qualities. Should be willing to work under pressure in a highly competitive environment.
